![]() I contacted Microsoft and spoke with someone about what appears to be the same issue as discussed on this thread. My graphics card is an Nvidia 8800GT with the latest driver installed off the Nvidia web site. I already switched to an X58 system, so I are no more able to test it, but I suspect that this is the answer to this problem.Īs for the last person's comment, that does not work for me. Good luck!Ĭ:\NVIDIA\nForceWinVista64\15.49\English\Awy>dirĭirectory of C:\NVIDIA\nForceWinVista64\15.49\English\Awy ![]() I pasted the contents of the AWY folder below. Point the driver update at this folder and it will recognize the driver. ![]() Under this you'll find a folder named AWY. Once the package downloads, execute the package and it will decompress to C:\NVIDIA\nForceWinVista64\15.49\English (with whatever your OS version is replacing WinVista64). Go to the NVIDIA web site and download the driver for your OS version for 6, 7, 8 and 9 series. The latest NVIDIA nForce motherboard drivers released on 10/2/09 version 15.49 includes the Away Mode Driver (v.114) WHQL.
